Kovalink on Windows and Android

One subscription link, three steps: get the link, import it, connect.

1. Get your subscription link

  • Open Kovalink on iPhone / iPad / Mac, go to Settings → Account → Windows / Android, and tap "Generate link". Copy the link, or let the PC / phone scan the QR code straight from the app.
  • No Apple device with Kovalink? The link follows your account — sign in once on any iPhone / iPad / Mac and generate it there.

The subscription speaks VLESS + REALITY (with XHTTP as the backup): v2rayN and v2rayNG support it natively — import the link and you are done, no manual settings.

2. Windows (v2rayN)

  1. Download v2rayN-windows-64-desktop.zip from the v2rayN releases page, unzip it to any folder, and run v2rayN.exe. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — click "More info → Run anyway".
  2. Menu "Subscription group → Subscription group settings" → Add, paste the link into the "Address (url)" field, and confirm.
  3. Menu "Subscription group → Update subscription (without proxy)" — the server list shows Kovalink · Toronto, Kovalink · Los Angeles, and the backup routes; nodes added later sync by themselves.
  4. Right-click a node and choose "Set as active server".
  5. At the bottom, set "System Proxy" to "Set system proxy automatically" — the browser works right away. To route every program through Kovalink, switch the mode next to "Routing" to "Tun mode" (administrator rights required; a driver is installed on first use).

3. Android (v2rayNG)

  1. Install v2rayNG from Google Play, or download the APK from the GitHub releases page.
  2. Tap "+" (top right) → "Scan QR code" and scan the QR code in the app, or "Import from clipboard" to paste the link (v2rayNG recognizes it as a subscription).
  3. Tap "⋮" (top right) → "Update subscription".
  4. Pick a Kovalink node, tap the connect button at the bottom right, and accept the VPN request.

4. Rules

  • One link = one device, counted against your account's device slots.
  • Switching to a new PC or phone? "Reset link" in the app first — the old link stops working immediately — then import the new link on the new device.
  • The link is your credential. Do not share it.
  • Subscriptions refresh automatically once a day; new nodes appear on their own, no re-import needed.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Subscription update fails: check that the link was copied in full and the clock is correct, and turn other proxies off before retrying.
  • Connects but nothing loads: switch to another Kovalink node — the Fallback backup routes exist for exactly that.
  • Still stuck: email kova@kovaview.com with a screenshot of the v2rayN / v2rayNG log.
