Kovalink Terms of Use

Effective date: September 22, 2026.

These terms are a contract between you and Dolores Education Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of Ontario, Canada ("Kovalink", "we", "us", "our"). They cover the Kovalink app, the Kovalink service, and this website. If you do not agree, do not use Kovalink.

1. The service

Kovalink is a virtual private network (VPN) app for iPhone and Mac. One button in the app turns the connection on and off. Kovalink carries your device's traffic to the public internet through a Kovalink exit point. Kovalink gives access to the public internet only. It does not give access to home or private networks, local devices, or their admin pages. There is no server list and no manual setup in the app. Kovalink needs iOS 17 or later on iPhone, and macOS 14 or later on Mac.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You may use Kovalink only where using a VPN service like this one is lawful for you, and, for App Store subscriptions, only where Apple's rules allow them. Kovalink has no accounts and no passwords. There is nothing to register or sign in to. Your access is tied to the app on your device. Paid access is tied to the Apple ID that pays for the subscription, or to the access key you activate. Use Kovalink only on devices you own or control.

3. Getting access

There are three ways to get access. You need only one.

Invitation. We send invitation links directly to invited people. An invitation is free. Opening the link on your device sets the app up for you. You never have to pay after using a valid invitation.

Subscription. In the app, choose Subscribe to buy the Kovalink Monthly plan through Apple.

Access key. Enter an access key in the app. Access keys are sold outside the App Store, by us or by a checkout provider we have authorized.

4. Subscription terms

The plan costs US$59 per month. Apple may show a different, localized price in your currency. The price Apple shows in the app is the price you pay.

The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. Apple bills you through your Apple ID. Kovalink never sees or stores your payment details. There is no free trial and no yearly plan.

You can cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple explains how: https://support.apple.com/HT202039 Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next month's charge. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid month. We do not refund the unused part of a paid month.

Apple handles billing, receipts, and refunds for App Store subscriptions under Apple's policies. If Apple refunds a purchase, or the subscription expires, paid access stops. A still-valid invitation keeps working under its own terms.

One subscription covers up to three of your devices. Use "Restore purchases" in the app to add your iPhone or Mac. If a renewal payment fails, follow Apple's steps to fix your payment method.

5. Access keys

An access key is a code in the form XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX. We issue access keys ourselves, or through a checkout provider we have authorized, outside the App Store. The price, billing period, renewal, and refund terms of an access key are the ones shown to you at that checkout, under that seller's own terms. Apple is not involved in that purchase, and Kovalink never sees or stores your payment details.

Enter the key in the app to activate the device you are using. One access key covers up to three of your devices; enter the same key on each of them. Access lasts as long as the membership behind the key stays active. If that membership lapses, is cancelled, or is refunded, access stops, normally within a few minutes. Access keys are personal. Do not sell, trade, or publicly post an access key. We may disable an access key if these terms are broken.

6. Invitation access

An invitation gives free access. Each invitation link works once. Once used, it cannot be used again. An invitation can expire or be withdrawn at any time. If that happens, the app says the invitation is no longer available. Invitations are personal. Do not sell, trade, or publicly post invitation links. We may limit or end invitation access at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You may use Kovalink only for lawful purposes. Do not use Kovalink to:

We may suspend or end access if we believe these rules were broken. We may also act where the law requires it.

8. Changes to the service and termination

We may change, limit, suspend, or stop any part of the service at any time. We do not promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted. You may stop using Kovalink at any time. Delete the app, and cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings or the membership behind your access key with its seller. If your paid subscription or access-key membership ends, your paid access stops.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Kovalink does not guarantee anonymity, security, or protection from every risk. A VPN does not make unlawful activity lawful, and does not excuse you from the law. We do not promise that every site or service will work through Kovalink. Some networks, sites, and apps block VPN traffic.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or accidental damages, lost profits, or lost data. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Kovalink in the twelve months before the claim. Some countries do not allow some of these limits. In those countries, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not let us limit.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version always lives at https://kovalink.app/terms with its effective date. If a change is important, we will try to announce it in the app or on this website. If you keep using Kovalink after the effective date, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
